Stan and Ollie attempt to fool their wives by sneaking out to a poker game, but instead get involved with two flirty ladies, one of whom is the girlfriend of a jealous boxer.

THICKER THAN WATER (1935)

Oliver is in trouble with his wife after missing a payment on their furniture, having given the money to Stanley, who used it instead to pay Mrs. Hardy for his room and board. While doing the dishes, Stanley convinces Oliver to withdraw the family savings and buy the furniture outright. But they accidentally squander it at an auction, purchasing a grandfather clock.

SONS OF THE DESERT (1933)

While Stan has permission of his wife to go to the annual convention of the Sons of the Desert in Chicago, Ollie’s wife won’t let her husband go. Ollie fakes that he has a nervous breakdown and the only cure is an ocean voyage to Honolulu. But instead of going to Honolulu, the Boys head for Chicago. All goes well until the ship that the Boys were supposed to be on sinks.
